Nevus, freckle and melanin treatments

Based on the principle of selective photothermal action, the laser-based treatment can act on different chromophores in the skin. The chromophore selectively absorbs the thermal energy of laser or light and produces corresponding reaction. The laser with the best wavelength can remove the pigmentation by targeting the melanin. The damaged pigmentation is eventually removed by the body. They undergo mild peeling and shedding, which changes the appearance of the skin in the lesion.
